Sock Hunt
Dallin is getting more intelligent all the time. From animal sounds to mimicking and "reading" books to trying to walk, he continues to amaze me.
Each day he learns new tricks. At times he will pick up his toys after he's finished playing. When it's time to brush his teeth he says "zzz" to mimic our vibrating toothbrushes. He blows on his food if we think it's too hot. He blows on my flute, like he's seen me do, and gets so excited if any noise comes out. Dallin also likes to put his hat and socks on by himself. He'll set the sock on top of his foot or set the hat on his head, only to have it fall off again... and again... and again.
A few days ago I wanted to get Dallin ready for his nap. I was busy at the moment, so I told him to go get socks so I could put them on his feet. He immediately left the room, went down the hall to his bedroom and returned with a dirty sock. I could hardly believe it! He had a huge grin on his face as he saw my amazement.
We love having Dallin in our family. He's such a cute, smart, wonderful little boy!
