Life just gets sweeter here at home. We are enjoying the beautiful weather and our awesome little man cub. He is simply smashing -- we love to play, woof, and scream for ice cream. Rawr, rawr, rawr. Dallin is here for his first full-length podcast production. He is uncharacteristically quiet. As uncharacteristically as if we were sitting in Sunday School this very moment.

Well, when pies fly, they really sail. Things have been a lot of fun around here, mostly due to Dallin and his glorious antics and April and her glorious glories. Perhaps in the spirit of Thanksgiving we give you this production of all the great things that have been going on in our little acreage here in life. We're happy that we're still breathing clearly, with, maybe, the exception of Dallin, who is slightly congested. But there is little that we can murmur about, given we've already found ourselves in the promised land and the milk and honey are freely flowing. And it's snowing!

Life is a many splendid thing, especially when mixed with such enhancements as splenda and msg. Even without such intensities, April and I feel very blessed to be able to continue having a great summer, podcasting, playing with our great son, Dallin, and hoping for a blessed tomorrow. Thanks to all those to whom we owe so much, especially to our Heavenly Father to whom we owe this day and our daily existence!

Snap! There's a lot going on here a year post-marriage time. It's fun to be together and be having fun. There's plenty to do and get ready for. 2009 will be a year of much learning and other awesomeness.

The drums are beating ever closer. Can he hear the music or something? Stinka'! We've been jammin' on the road for the past 3 weeks. Well, as jammin' as you can get with sketchy radio reception in the shadow of the everlasting hills.

Ha! Ultra dilly dilly technology has shown the blueness of our future life. Snap! Crackle, and pop! T'aint we lucky?!

The end of the summer is now! Bring on the snow. Ok, maybe not yet. We need to camp a few times before then. We tried to cram in the most we could into our hot summer together. And as a good round off (Olympic allusion) to one of the 4 best seasons of the year, we took a road trip to Idaho for the weekend. Beautiful Idaho was there, winning her way to fame (5th grade allusion).

Here, we chronicle the super weekend revolution that was our Pioneer Day vacation. Working for the church, the days of '47 were honored and we had a good chunk of time to party on with the Shelleys -- except those stuck in Cancun, poor people. It was SO much fun!! We loved it. If anyone wants to come and visit and see if they can stretch the capacity of our apartment, they have a good record to beat -- 7 people in a one-bedroom flat.

Here comes the biggest event of the summer... no, really. It was our killer-of-vacation-hours vacation. And it was all totally worth it!! It was fun to go to the beach again with my honey (April for Jake, Jake for April). Lincoln City was fun, but I think we determined to try something new in the future. The tradition was awesome while the tradition was awesome.

In other news, we're back in Utah and life here happens to also be awesome, especially when you have such an awesome spouse (April for Jake, Jake for April)! Our love of this wonderful life that Heavenly Father has given us just exudes from the podcast. Download 'er today!
