Surprise from Alinda
Alinda decided to pay us a visit in Utah, unexpectedly, a couple weekends ago. It was fun to see her again. As usual, she had her camera handy, and thus we have a few good snapshots at her hand. Thanks, Alinda!
Invasion of the Arthropods
Alinda recently visited our house and, with a small gasp, said in a very declarative, matter-of-fact tone, "There's ants on floor." And so there was. Wondering how such a string of the little beasties could have wound their way in a confetti-like streamer pattern across our floor, we came to the conclusion that we must never look down. And it's true -- especially without my telescopic-powered glasses prescription I can hardly see my toes.
