Cabin in the Park
We had another great time at Island Park this year with a nice family reunion with all my siblings and their families. It was mui fanstastico! The fam was great, the weather first rate, and we ate everything but steak. But there were plenty of good licorice candies to go around instead. Thanks, fam!
Singletree Campout
Summer is wonderful for it's increased opportunity to get away and enjoy the outdoors. We've been camping up a storm since Wednesday and got back yesterday from Capitol Reef. We went down Wednesday morning amid on and off showers. It was a fun drive. I'm not sure I ever remember going that far South on I-15. It's pretty down there through Nephi. We then got on UT-50, went through Scipio, down to Salina, scooted over on I-70 and continued on UT-24. Dallin finally woke up when we got to Torrey, Utah. We stopped at the little gas station there and filled him up. He did a great job travelling. I think he's had enough now though. Haven't we all...
So Goes the Saga
Where have we been all our lives? We've been partying away, and now share a little bit -- in fast forward.
Island Park with the Shelleys
Up North we ventured over the surly rim of the Yellowstone caldera. Such excitement was to befall us, the likes of which we never did suppose. The air was free, flowing warmly; the water clear, babbling quietly; the trees towering, swaying magnificently; the flowers arrayed in splendor, spinning floridly. Obviously, the setting was ripe for a weekend to remember. The Shelley's were awesome, even beyond high expectation. No wonder April is as amazing as I continue to discover she is.
