Just a few days ago, the Joseph Smith papers were released online. It's an amazing collection of many journals and histories and other original documents. I just heard Elder Marlin K. Jensen bear his testimony of the veracity of Joseph's account of the First Vision today. It was a powerful witness. I, too, know that it's true.
Joseph Smith - Prophet of the Restoration
Wow, this is awesome news! Well, if you didn't know what you were doing for family night yet, the Church has just released its Joseph Smith full-length film (usually playing in the Legacy Theatre and other visitor centers) to the public online. See it on the Mormon Channel.
The film has been drastically revised. "The revised version is five minutes shorter than the original, and about 40 percent of the movie is new. Footage from the first version was re-edited to fit the revised storyline." Read more in the press release on Newsroom. Very, very cool!
