Slipin' Slide Summer
The end of the summer is now! Bring on the snow. Ok, maybe not yet. We need to camp a few times before then. We tried to cram in the most we could into our hot summer together. And as a good round off (Olympic allusion) to one of the 4 best seasons of the year, we took a road trip to Idaho for the weekend. Beautiful Idaho was there, winning her way to fame (5th grade allusion).
We love each other and doing this podcast. Any of you that want to contribute a higher-quality mic, I'll furnish you with shipping reimbursement and a valid street address (Don't trust the one on the Whoop Club website).
Wiping World Records
I don't know if any of you caught this, but the Men's 400m Free Relay at the Beijing 2008 Olympics was amazing. I didn't see it live, but I sure heard about it the next day.
Catch it here. That link requires Silverlight (blasted Ms/Nbc mix).
If you want a good, reliable flash link, that's here, although the quality isn't as good because it's a video of someone's TV set. :) haha.

'Better take a look. Not only are you supporting the good 'ol USA, but helping NBC win back their $900 mil.
Island Park with the Shelleys
Up North we ventured over the surly rim of the Yellowstone caldera. Such excitement was to befall us, the likes of which we never did suppose. The air was free, flowing warmly; the water clear, babbling quietly; the trees towering, swaying magnificently; the flowers arrayed in splendor, spinning floridly. Obviously, the setting was ripe for a weekend to remember. The Shelley's were awesome, even beyond high expectation. No wonder April is as amazing as I continue to discover she is.
Days of '08
That was then; this is now. The hottest thing to hit podcasting since not being able to talk to the person sitting next to you because they were jammin' out to whatever was coming through their white ipod earbuds: we give you AprilandJake.com's 4th podcast.
Here, we chronicle the super weekend revolution that was our Pioneer Day vacation. Working for the church, the days of '47 were honored and we had a good chunk of time to party on with the Shelleys -- except those stuck in Cancun, poor people. It was SO much fun!! We loved it. If anyone wants to come and visit and see if they can stretch the capacity of our apartment, they have a good record to beat -- 7 people in a one-bedroom flat.
Rage of the Waters
Well, it seems all I can do is move my fingers slightly to record our sun-scorched, water-spashed, crypto-free day. It was spectacular. It was, as I calculate, my third lifetime episode of a day in the waterpark (followed by 1st with Ant in Rexburg in the waterpark that is now no more and 2nd with Quinns in Yakima).
