MormonTemples.org

MormonTemples.org has launched! (a few weeks ago) It is a site to help others know about the temples that are being built around them. And there is some good info for those of us who are more familiar with the temples of Christ. And there is some sweeto multimedia items to check out. Viva los templos!
Christ's Temples
"Every activity, every lesson, all we do in the Church, point to the Lord and His holy house."
Thankfully, I've had a temple close to me for all of my life. I hope that I can be closer to the Lord when close to His temples.

I've always thought this temple in Cochabamba Bolivia was awesome.
"Death cannot sever families sealed in the temple."
Quotes from Elder Nelson of the 12 Apostles, who knows of what he speaks.
When I was born, there were 25 temples in operation. Now there are 134 with 26 more announced. Momentous temples as of late: Nauvoo temple rebuilt and dedicated. Kiev Ukraine temple dedicated. Rome Italy temple announced. Awesome!
Another Look-alike: Temples
It was fantastic when we learned that a new temple was going to be built in Rexburg, Idaho. It was very exciting to see some of the early renders showing what the temple was going to look like. It's now been completed for some time. April and I were able to go through the temple with some of her family for the open house and then return the week after the dedication to go through a temple session there. It was beautiful. I found a fun time-lapse video of its construction compiled from photos taken from a BYU-Idaho webcame here.

Last night, we went to a party with April's coworkers and the school that was down South by a new development in Salt Lake called Daybreak. The community layout features a new temple: The Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It looks very close to the Rexburg Temple in its architecture. It's a great style. I love the temple!
