Jon Bets on NH

Or maybe he's done betting. It's hard to tell after an appearance on SNL.

Grandpas Come a Mining

Dallin and Mackenzie's Grandpa and Great Grandpa came to visit. We visited the Bingham Canyon copper mine, the largest open pit mine in the world, operated by Rio Tinto. There was enough fun to go 4 generations around. It was awesome!

Album and Wallpaper.

Call of the Sandstone

Wow, this makes you want get out and enjoy summer in Southern Utah!

Singletree in Pictures

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend with the extended family. It a welcome break for us. The weather was great. The food was delicious. April was the sweetest. Dallin was a fun little bundle, and we had a great time. Hopefully we'll get out together some more.

Singletree Campout

Summer is wonderful for it's increased opportunity to get away and enjoy the outdoors. We've been camping up a storm since Wednesday and got back yesterday from Capitol Reef. We went down Wednesday morning amid on and off showers. It was a fun drive. I'm not sure I ever remember going that far South on I-15. It's pretty down there through Nephi. We then got on UT-50, went through Scipio, down to Salina, scooted over on I-70 and continued on UT-24. Dallin finally woke up when we got to Torrey, Utah. We stopped at the little gas station there and filled him up. He did a great job travelling. I think he's had enough now though. Haven't we all...

Leprecaun Canyon

Nate, Nicole, Tiff, Aaron, McKay, Addie, Quinn, and Enoch went with us on this wonderful weekend adventure. The main fork of the canyon provide the most narrow and the most lengthy narrows I've ever encountered -- what a SLOT canyon!

Cecret Lake 08

Aka Secret Lake was a great little hike up in Little Cottonwood Canyon with the Shelley clan. The hardest part was finding a parking spot on Pioneer Day weekend. After a parking lot battle of wits and a visit to a restroom that made you wish you'd thought ahead, we were up the mountain. There was even a little snow left around on the trail. It was a way popular hike, but we soon blew past moms carrying their children up the mountain while sporting flip-flops and made it to our destination only to find a no swimming sign.

Human Kaleidoscope

Good news: the Jazz are to be treated to another 3-4 years of the short man scoring and assisting from the outside and showin' his hops on the inside.

The painted man just settled for a more $50-70 mil. If he's able to sustain himself on that given Utah's price of living and the price of petrol for the next 4 years, hopefully we'll see the state just South of the Gem State (what is this state?) win its first championship before 2 more generations of missionaries return.
